Woolston Infant School
Computing
Curriculum Vision: Computing
At Woolston Infant School, we aim to deliver a high-quality computing curriculum in order to equip all of our children, whatever their abilities, with the skills, thinking and vocabulary they will need for the ever-changing, technology dominated world in which they are living in.
Our aim is to ensure that all our children leave Woolston Infant School digitally literate with the skills and thinking they need for wider education and life. They will learn the key principles of information and technology, how to safely use and create digital systems through programming, the ever-growing technological world and E-safety. E-safety is at the heart of the computing curriculum and a part of every lesson ensuring that children are prepared with strategies that help them to make confident and safe judgements about their online activity at school and at home.
